What does it mean to be a spiritual follower of God? When Jesus is Lord, the church is one. This is the plain and simple truth that Bro. Bob shares with us.

As God is empowering us to develop & strengthen our relationship with Him, we are called, no matter how long we have known Christ, to share the gospel with those around us.

The way you and I live in relationship with each other in the church is of major concern to God. If love is not shown in the life of the church, we lose our ability to share God's salvation in the world outside the church.

Join Bro. Bob as he talks about being good stewards of our salvation.

Much of what God calls us into is impossible by the world's standards, yet what we experience in Christ, only God can do. When God came to us, He came to give life and be light voided by the sin in our lives.
It is through the life of Jesus, Emmanuel - God with us, that we see and experience God doing everything possible to keep us from the place of darkness - it is up to us to choose which place we reside.
Join Bro. Bob as he talks about the crisis created when God came into the world, a crisis that we are either in the light or in the dark.

The Advent season is upon us and as we gather to remember Jesus' birth, and the magnitude of "God with us," let us not forget that the coming of Jesus into the world is God's battle strategy to thwart the plans of Satan. Christmas is about the invasion of God into the world to save the world - it is the battle plan and love story of God's redemption and saving of the human race.

Nov 2, 2015

Join us as Bro. Bob teaches that while there are steps we can take to make a difference, at the end of the day, it is the miraculous work of Jesus working through us.

Thoughts to remember:
  • God knows the needs in the lives of people and will not let it be missed - it is up to us to respond.
  • God is going to get His work done.
  • We have to live our lives with Jesus with our hands open. When we give up, He begins to work.

Oct 26, 2015

Life is not always about smiles and laughter - it is always about the joy found in Jesus. The joy of being on mission for Jesus is because He wants us in that place.

Join us as Bro. Bob finishes his "Making A Difference" sermon series.

Oct 18, 2015

As believers in the Almighty God, the Creator and Sustainer of Life itself, we, as Christians, should live our lives in such a way the Joy of the Lord is seen. However when life and spiritual struggles get in the way, living the "good life" in Christ isn't always easy. We have to remember:

  • The world will only be able to determine the value of abundant life in Christ if they see it valued in our life.
  • Every ounce of our being is to reflect the light of God Himself.
  • The presence of God is not just around us but in us.

Join us as Bro. Bob continues his series "Making A Difference".

Oct 12, 2015

Bro. Bob continues to challenge us as believers about what it means to make a difference in the world. Love is never sense as a feeling in Scripture but as a response to action. Our love for each other is a response to the nature and character of God. The showing of our love for one another is visible, concrete proof God lives in us. We can't make a difference in the darkness if we're not letting the love of God be shared in the light.

Sep 27, 2015

We all have dreams and want to see God impact our communities and the lives we encounter. In order to do that Biblically and effectively, we have to be open and humble to allow the Word of God to challenge and change our lives.

Join us as Bro. Bob challenges us with the question:

What good is it to intersect with the Word of God but not adjust to or be changed by it?

"In the darkest places of life is found the greatest opportunity to see the brightest light."

There will be times in life when we feel there is no hope, no future, and we are left to walk in the desert alone. In those times, we must remember there is hope. Many in Scripture have felt this way before and have come through with a deeper knowledge of the goodness of God. Join Bro. Bob as he teaches about Gideon and Jeremiah's journeys through this valley.

We have to remember "we cannot go somewhere with God without dealing with God's agenda."

The details are important. We all like to know the details. We like to know the when, the where, the how, and the who. This is why GPS is so popular - when we journey someplace new or unknown, GPS gives us the details of how to get there, the quickest way to go, and what time it is estimated to arrive.

Our relationship with God is different. Even while the details are unknown, God says I know the plans and I want you to be with me - that is most important.

God knows the details - we only need to know Him and be with Him.
Our Interim Pastor, Bro. Bob, takes us to Jeremiah 29, to a familiar passage, with a reminder that our God knows the details and we can have peace knowing Him and Him alone.
Sep 7, 2015

In today's competitive world, we unknowingly can let our competitiveness sneak its way in to our relationship with Christ. When we begin comparing our spiritual growth with other people, that is a sign of the competitive nature sneaking its way in. Our Minister of Students, Mark Ellison, focuses on Romans 12:1-8 as he discusses what true discipleship looks like.

Aug 24, 2015

We can have everything we want in life. We can be doing all the right things. But if we lack the one thing that secure our eternity, it is all for naught. Bob Vasser, our prospective Interim Pastor, unpacks Jesus' encounter with the rich young ruler in efforts to remind us that without Christ, it is all for naught.

Aug 18, 2015

When life is not what we expected nor feel like it is what we signed up for, we must remember that our God reigns that He is still in control and holds all things together.

Aug 11, 2015

We no longer live in a "Come & See" world where the church opens its doors and people come and see what the gospel is all about. Today, we live in a "Go and Tell" world where the church must go in to the community and tell others about Christ. David Hannah, missionary in Italy, shares from Luke 5:27-32 how Jesus' calling of Matthew, the tax collector, is important for us today as we seek to share Christ with the world.
